Hello Ram, I was just talking about an old friend, Narikutti Swami, to a friend here and she suggested I do a Google search. I looked at a number of entries including my own blog of last year in which I saw your comment just now. I met Narikutti Swami in 1979 and went to see him many times over the years. We had many deep discussions, he "needled" me a lot, he wrote a lot of letters which are all gone. He advised me to see Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj in 79 and gave me his address. I saw Maharaj twice because of him. An indelible memory was walking through Tiruvannamalai town with him, and seeing how much respect he had earned from the town folk. I shared many meals with him, and indeed, the last time I saw him, I bought him lunch in Sydney Australia - it was the first time I had been to that city in many years, and by coincidence he was visiting there. He was a true seeker - a spiritual warrior, with the "howl of the jackal" as he would say. Om Shanti. Alan Tait.
